Could Not Find Any Capable Video Play Modules Macbook
I just downloaded a trial version of Adobe Premiere CS4 and I'm having a devil of a time trying to get to start: it keeps popping up the error message: 'cannot find capable video play modules', and then 'Runtime error R6025'. The installation of Premiere Pro went smoothly.
I'm working in XP SP3.
This problem has been mentioned quite a few times in this forum. I also have this problem!
So, my recommendation is to use Premiere Pro (2019) ver 13.0.1 or earlier. I have this problem with 13.0.2. Going back to the pervious version (13.0.1) works as it should.If you have auto update enabled, then Premiere Pro may have updated itself to the current version - 13.0.2, so I would also check to see which version you are running.

If it is 13.0.2 - then this would explain why you are getting this message.I very much doubt your upgrade caused this problem nor the drivers being the problem. In fact most driver updates are concerned wiith new games thta have been released - if one bothers to read the update information, it talks about game improvements, not fixes to other software.Adobe's solution is also unhelpful.For some reason this problem happens on some computers and not others. I haven't been able to find out why, or a solution that solves the problem.
